Neurolinguistic Programing
and Hypnotherapy
Neuro Linguistic Programing is a technique used to change the mindset, improve the ability to set and achieve goals, and move forward through periods of trauma, stress, and dis-ease. IT is an approach to communication, personal development and psychotherapy, that first appeared in Richard Bandler and John Grinder's 1975 book The Structure of Magic I. NLP claims that there is a connection between neurological processes (neuro-), language (linguistic) and acquired behavioral patterns (programming), and that these can be changed to achieve specific goals in life.
How Does Dr. Marci use it in Practice?
Let's give an example with simple goals:
One person sets a goal that states: "I don't want to be fat anymore."
Dr. Marci helps to reconstruct that goal to "I want to be healthy" and then moves the person through the road blocks to "I am Healthy"
The process can be used in all areas of life. It can be helpful for those that
1. Want to Break a habit and create a new one
2. Stop Procrastination
3. Improve Finances
4. Improve Communication in Personal and Professional relationships
5. Move from reactionary to Reflective
6. Let go of past trauma
